We work with coffee-growing cooperatives across Latin America and Africa, building relationships that last. In fact, we’ve worked with our growers for more than 28 years on average – unusual in an industry where changing prices can make life unpredictable.
These long-term partnerships help us source great coffee and mean we can work together on the things that matter – from quality and livelihoods to the changing climate and the future of coffee.
Most of our coffee is grown by small-scale farmers who are members of cooperatives. By working together, farmers can share knowledge and resources, invest in quality and strengthen their businesses and communities.
For us, a cooperative is much more than somewhere we buy coffee. Our relationships are built over years – often decades – giving us the opportunity to listen, learn and work together on the challenges facing coffee.
