It’s certified by the Soil Association which means it’s grown using nature-friendly farming methods, with minimal environmental impact.
It’s better for farmers too, because they don’t work with hazardous chemicals. Plus they receive a price Differential for their organic coffee because it produces a lower yield.

Why organic is better for the planet
Reduces greenhouse gases
Reduces greenhouse gas emissions by restricting the use of manufactured chemical fertilisers. These are often imported from abroad and come from burning fossil fuels.
Increases biodiversity
Increases biodiversity, which is important for ecosystems, which provide us with the air we breathe and the food we eat.

Improves soil health which draws in and stores carbon dioxide through plants and trees, instead of being released into the atmosphere.
It also protects the soil from erosion and prologues its life for agriculture.
