This Christmas, enjoy our blend of two marvelous Bourbon varietals; our first coffee comes direct from our producing partners at the Central Cooperative of Coffee growers in Huila positioned in the Pital municipality in the Huila department of South-West Colombia. Don Alvaro produces high quality microlots, including this Pink Bourbon varietal, unique for its pink cherries, fruity sweetness and an incredibly clean and complex structure.
Our second coffee is an equally unique Red Bourbon varietal from the newly constructed Gitwe Washing Station in the Nyamasheke district of Rwanda. Red Bourbon’s are renown for their incredible sweetness, complexity, a body filled with juicy red currants and that amazing acidity we find with high altitude African coffees.
Brew ratio: We suggest a ratio of 1:15- 6 grams of coffee to every 100ml.
