We take responsibility for our footprint

Coffee depends on a stable climate. Right now, that's under threat.

That's why we've committed to reducing our emissions in line with climate science. Our targets are approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), to ensure our plans match the scale of the challenge.

Our commitments include:

Reducing our scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030
Measuring and reducing our scope 3 emissions
Reducing our overall emissions by 90% by 2040

We're working to reduce our impact because securing the future of coffee means protecting the environment it depends on.

2023-2025

In 2023, our business doubled in size with the purchase of Bewley’s UK – and our footprint quadrupled. The topline GHG assessment at this new scale is in the table below.

2023 became our new base year for reductions with SBTi.
