Our latest Limited Release offering is this Natural Typica, Bourbon & Arusha mixed varietal from the Grass Roots wet mill in the Kuli Gap region of Papua New Guinea.

Buying red cherries from the surrounding farms, Paul can pick only the ripest cherries of the highest quality, maintaining the high consistency of quality that’s been produced over the last few harvests. After selecting the cherries, they are then shipped to the Eastern highlands to be prepared and stored before being shipped.

Paul comes to the producing world with huge experience. With a degree in Agriculture, diplomas in Agricultural breeding and work with the Coffee Research Institute, before becoming a coffee producer himself.

With this level of expertise, the wet mill has very high quality control in place and can experiment with new processes. Working with Volcafe’s sister company in PNG, Grass Roots has been able to producer high quality naturals for two harvests now.
