Chocolate Gingerbread Hearts
These delicious gingerbread hearts were perfected by Yasmin from the marketing team here at Cafédirect. They contain just the right amount of spice and yummy dark chocolate to leave you wishing you had made more!

They’re perfect to have with a cup of tea and their spicy flavour makes them a great match with our Kilimanjaro coffee.

Makes: 30 hearts

Ingredients – Remember to use Fairtrade products where possible!
125g unsalted butter
100g dark muscovado sugar
4 tbsp golden syrup
325g plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 tsp ground ginger
100g Fairtrade dark chocolate (Divine’s 70% Dark Chocolate is recommended!)
