We work with two co-operatives in two countries in Asia: Kelliewatte in Sri Lanka and Chamong in India.
India and Sri Lanka both have a long tradition of tea cultivation and we work with producers in both of these countries to produce some of our teas.

Sri Lanka is renowned for its high quality tea and is the world's third biggest tea producing country.
India has the highest percentage of tea drinkers than any other country in the world. However, the per capita consumption of tea in India remains a modest 750 grams per person every year due to the large population base and high poverty levels.

Our unique tea purchasing policy combines higher prices for farmers, higher social premiums, and additional investment of our profits into the businesses and communities of our grower partners.
