The benefits of Cafédirect premiums
Mpanga have invested in new equipment for their clinics at the factories. Although the clinics are located at the factories, they are open to the whole community.
This has brought medical services closer to the workers and other villagers, reducing the need for them to travel long distances to access such services.
In addition to regular health services, these clinics also operate as HIV/AIDS counselling centres.
Premiums have also been used to pay for improved hygiene and sanitation facilities for workers and members of Mpanga, improvements to classrooms for primary school pupils and clean water facilities for communities.
