COCLA is located in the Cusco region of Peru, very near to the UNESCO world heritage site of Machu Picchu. High in the Andes, surrounded by lush, tropical valleys, the 8,500 smallholder growers of the COCLA coffee co-operative enjoy the best possible climate in which to grow their excellent quality coffee.
The high altitude (above 1500m), fertile volcanic soil and unique microclimate gives the coffee a rich flavour. Because the coffee is grown on some of the steepest slopes in the Andes, with smallholdings found along the Inca trail itself, coffee is handpicked and hand cultivated with care and expertise.
Escape to Machu Picchu with a cup of Machu Picchu 100% Arabica coffee – take your pick from our instant, roast & ground or coffee beans.
