Located on the eastern side of the Andes in the province of Sandiain, Southern Peru , the CECOVASA co-operative has been partners with  Cafédirect since 1993.

CECOVASA are experts in producing excellent quality coffee and according to Tibed Yujra (pictured left with Cafédirect’s Paul), who’s in charge of quality control at CECOVASA, there are three important factors that give CECOVASA coffee its excellent quality:

1. The great location of the farms, which are situated in fertile soils of the Sandia Valley.
2. The producers proudly grow their coffee in a “natural” way, which means without any fertiliser.
3. CECOVASA invest in training farmers and developing tasting laboratories to maintain the high quality after the coffee has been picked.

With this winning combination it’s no wonder CECOVASA are renowned for producing top quality coffee.
