The tea growers of Kiegoi are incredibly passionate about their tea. After they’ve handpicked the tea leaves they pack them in baskets called ‘kitararu’. Not only does the design of these baskets make it easy for the growers to carry but it keeps the leaves fresh as it allows air to get to them.
Located 320km from the capital Nairobi in the Meru region of Central Kenya, near to Mount Kenya, the expert growers of Kiegoi provide us with delicious handpicked tea leaves for our award winning Hand-Picked and Decaffeinated Hand-Picked teas.
