Cafédirect’s Gold Standard was created in 2003 when we became a public company.  It sets out the principles on which the company is based and informs our goals, strategic direction and the way we operate.

In 2009 we developed a set of indicators that we use to measure our progress against the commitments we make in the Gold Standard. We publish our progress yearly in our Annual Report (read our latest Annual Reports here).

The Gold Standard has three main commitments:
•    We are grower focused in all we do
•    We integrate environmental action into the way we operate
•    We strive to be an inspirational and accountable business
