Cafédirect Producers' Foundation

Established in September 2009, Cafédirect Producers Foundation will be scaling up its operations on behalf of all Cafédirect Producers by establishing a Secretariat that will be in responsible for:

• managing the Cafédirect Producer Partnership Programme and other projects

• representing producer organisations and brigning the producer perspective in the Cafédirect business

• establishing relationships and strategic alliances, building ways of working together, and identifying common goals with both Producer Organisations and Cafédirect plc

• raising the profile of Cafédirect Producers’ Foundation and its impact/learning and investigate and secure additional funding for programmes to strengthen producer organisations

The two current CPL Directors are Raul del Aguila, from the COCLA coffee co-operative in Peru, and Raymond Kimaro, from the KNCU coffee co-operative in Tanzania.
