In 2004, Cafédirect issued shares to become a plc. Our decision to issue shares was guided by a wish for a more inclusive ownership. The opportunity enabled our grower partners, consumers, employees and founders to own a share in the company and be directly connected to each other.
This reinforces the direct connection between farmers, who grow the coffee, tea, and cocoa, with consumers, who enjoy drinking it. This has always been central to Cafédirect’s way of doing good business.
