Cafédirect is the UK's largest Fairtrade hot drinks company. Our coffees, teas and drinking chocolate are sold through most of the major supermarkets. We work with 40 producer organisations in 14 countries, ensuring that over a quarter of a million growers receive a decent income from trade.

As part of our Gold Standard Fairtrade policy, over the last five years we have invested £3 million (over half our profits) into the businesses of our grower partners.

The collapse of the International Coffee Agreement in 1989 sent market prices plunging, putting the lives of millions of smallholder farmers around the world in jeopardy.

100% of our range of coffees, teas, and hot chocolates is Fairtrade. This means that they are all certified by the Fairtrade Labelling Organisation (FLO) and that we meet their criteria for paying a fair price to farmers.
