Terms and Conditions
1. This promotion is open to UK residents except employees of the Promoter and their families and anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. Entrants must obtain parental/guardian’s permission if under 16.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To be in with a chance of winning, simply purchase a ticket to a TasteFair event. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
3. No incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will be accepted. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted. Entries will become the property of the Promoter.
4. Maximum of one entry per person during the whole promotion. No entrant may win more than one prize.
5. The competition will run from 11am February 18th 2009 to midnight March 1st 2009. The winners will be the first twenty people to purchase tickets online to a ticketed TasteFair event during this period. Tickets can be purchased from www.cafedirect.co.uk/events.
6. There are twenty prizes on offer. The winners will recieve one copy of 'The Good Shopping Guide' (edition 7).
7. The winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the date of the draw. Winners must claim their prize within 14 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to substitute winners selected in accordance with the Promotion rules.
8. The prize will be sent to a UK postal address indicated by the winner at the time of email notification that they are a winner.
9. Prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The decision of the judge is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.
10. To enter the competition, all entrants must be a Friend of Cafédirect. Entrants who have not joined Friends of Cafédirect can sign up before submitting their entry.
11. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Names of the winners can be obtained by contacting the promoter at the address below within four weeks of the final closing date.
